On one hand, we are chanting the slogans of “Beti bachao beti padhao” and on the other hand, at least one rape case is reported every 15 minutes in our country.

“The silence was killing me.
And that's all there ever was. Silence. It was all I knew. Keep quiet. Pretend nothing had happened, that nothing was wrong. And look how well that was turning out.”
― J. Lynn
Sexual harassment is just a common thing in our country. But we rarely talk about them and our mainstream media is busy with “communal debate shows.”
According to the “India Inc” reports there is a rise of 14% in sexual harassment complaints in 2019 and a total of 109 children are sexually abused every day in India.
And back in 2018 around 781 cases of use of a child for pornography or storing child pornography material was recorded and back in 2017, 331 such cases were recorded.
Sexual harassment is a serious health issue that can lead to anxiety, depression, headaches, sleep disorders, nausea, lowered self-esteem, sexual dysfunction, and many more mental and physical issues.
But how can we stop it?
1.Stop blaming rape victims for the violence perpetrated against them.
2.Interrupt rape jokes.
3.Provide better sex education to your child.
Sexual violence will never end, until and unless men become part of the solution.
LETS BE THE PART OF THE NEW BEGINNING.
